Peninsula Specialty Speech Therapy offers 2-week intensive speech language therapy services during summer months and as scheduling allows throughout the year. Evaluations take place prior to beginning the intensive program and treatment sessions occur daily during the intensive period.

Appropriate candidates for this therapy model may include:

• Patients who have experienced a brain injury and want to maximize their treatment during a critical recovery window

• Patients who are making progress with therapy in a school or clinic setting, but have not seen this same carryover to the home environment

• Patients with developmental disabilities who may benefit from an intensive period of therapy to focus on functional skills

• Patients whose physicians feel they may benefit from a short boost of therapy services
